Placing Orders
- Orders submitted by you on the Better by Bike website are an offer to purchase the goods at the specified price, and to be collected by you at the Better by Bike store in Murwillumbah, NSW.
- Pre-Order purchases will be accepted at the time of purchase and completed subject to supplier availability and your position in the waitlist.
- We may decline to accept payment from you for reasons such as;
- where our fraud detection systems detect possible irregularities;
- because your financial institution has declined payment;
- or because your payment card has expired. If this occurs we reserve the right to cancel your order or request you provide additional information to verify you are the card holder.
Cancelation of Orders
Better by Bike reserves the right to cancel an order at any time before delivery has been completed/delivered for any of the following reasons;
- Goods ordered were subject to an error on our Website, for example, in relation to a description, price or image, which was not discovered prior to the Order being accepted.
- A supplier can no longer supply the goods after promising to do so
- We do not receive a reply from you within 3 business days when we have contacted you for any reason in relation to your order.
Bike Manufacturer’s Warranty or Guarantee
All bikes purchased from Electric Bikes Brisbane are provided with manufacturer's warranties and this resides with the original owner. Your bike manual will provide further details. However for most of our bikes there is a two year manufacturer's warranty on the drive systems (note: not wear and tear) and is claimable if the bike is used in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer.
1.1 The traveller/customer/service user will supply Better By Bike with Personal Data in the course
of using the Better By Bike services. Better By Bike acknowledge and agree that Personal Data
will constitute “personal information”, “personally identifiable information” or any equivalent
term used pursuant to any Data Security Law.
1.2 Better By Bike undertakes that all Personal Data it supplied by the Traveller/Customer/Service
User:
1.2.1 was collected from the applicable Traveller/Customer/Service User and is stored in
compliance with applicable Data Security Law; and
1.2.2 is supplied to Better By Bike in accordance with the consent of the Traveller.
1.2.3 used only to the extent necessary for each party to supply the Services to the
Traveller/Customer/ Service User and will not be disclosed to any other person unless
consented to by the Traveller.

(a) Privacy Act 1993 (New Zealand);
(b) Privacy Act 1988 (Australia); and
(c) General Data Protection Regulation (European Union).
