Brought my parents with me who equally enjoyed it and easily pedaled the 50km at 70+ years old. The bikes are in great condition and easy to use, staff are super helpful and friendly. Unless you're hardcore cyclist and have your padded bike shorts with you,  go the e-bike. Super fun. No stress. Enjoy more of the views and birds. We umm-ed and ahh-ed about which bike option to choose and although we both cycle and aren't unfit, we chose the e-bike. So glad we did cos we had a comfy seat, heaps of time to explore and could gun it on turbo mode to get under shelter in the rain. I also way prefer a panier (provided on the e-bike) to a backpack (the byo non-ebike option). Rainy days are great cos the track's not busy and it's QLD, so it's not cold as long as you have a rain jacket. Lots of fun quirky stops worth seeing (panier also helpful for little purchases, like the 1L of fresh home grown pomegranate juice from a fruit stall on the trail ;) ). Start early if you are cycling the return trip and want enough time at the art gallery (we did it on a separate day). Campbell and Steve at the bike shop are super helpful. They answered all my annoying questions with a smile. They even wash your bike at the end whilst you just wander off to get changed and find dinner. Brilliant!

Campbell helped me hire their trike and answer my emails. Then on the day, let us change to the next day as a storm came over. Kyle dropped out bikes to us and was so friendly and helpful.
